FAQ
Common questions about the OntoX AI platform, deployment and data security
What is OntoX AI? How does it differ from AI tools or SaaS?
OntoX AI is an AI-native enterprise platform: OMS modeling, DBChat data dialog, Cortex reasoning and Loom orchestration chained into one pipeline — business systems built and operated through conversation. The essential difference from SaaS is private delivery: the full system runs inside your network, data never leaves.
Can non-technical business staff use it?
Yes. Modeling, data queries and workflow changes are all natural-language interactions: define business objects in a sentence, query data with a question, refine processes by chat. Engineers can go deeper with standard APIs and config-driven workflow orchestration.
Does it support private deployment? What assurance for financial industry?
Full private deployment is supported. Multi-tenant data isolation, role/function/data three-level permissions, complete audit trail; AML scenarios production-tested in city commercial bank environments, meeting financial-grade compliance requirements.
How much work to integrate with existing systems?
Connect via standard APIs and data sources — no need to replace existing investments. Existing databases can be mounted directly for modeling; data pipelines support declarative extract/clean/load. Single-scenario integration is typically measured in days.
How long from signup to the first business system running?
Free signup activates the four-engine workspace immediately. Template import yields a usable system in minutes; AI one-sentence modeling generates a complete system with pages, permissions, APIs and demo data within 5 minutes in measured runs.
Where is data stored? Who can access it?
Data is stored in PostgreSQL on your own servers — entirely yours. Platform access is unified-auth with role-based authorization; every data change leaves an audit record.
